Such a nightmare...

My girlfriend and I looked at a lot of places and thought we'd settle down in Waterstone. We liked the place a lot, the apartment was in pretty good shape (from what we could see), the price wasn't too bad and my friend (who happens to be a co-worker) lives there so him and I could carpool together to work...sounds good right'
Nope! When we first went there we had a lady who was helping us out. We filled out our applications and was told that she'd get back to us within the next day or so...a week goes by and no reply from her letting us know if we got the place. So we call and find out that she doesn't work in that complex anymore and that she's moved to another location. Thanks for telling us! There's strike 1 against them. Someone else ends up helping us and informs us that the apartment we had on hold (mind you we had to pay the $100 holding fee for THAT specific apartment) is still being used by another tenant and that we'll need to move into another one. We didn't mind because it was still pretty early before we had to move and the location wasn't too bad...but why move us when we already HELD (with our $100) the first apartment' Strike 2...
Then this is where it gets fun! I take a day off from work and my gf came over after school last week and get the electricity, gas, internet and phone set up. She was talking to AT&T and they told us that they couldn't start service for us because someone else already has service up at our apartment. We were really confused...do people live at the apartments RIGHT before we're suppose to move in''' We were suppose to move in 9 days from then...What's going on' So we call the people at Waterstone and ask them if someones in our apartment. They tell us "the tenants there ended up staying and we'll have to find another place for you". Are you kidding me'! Moving us AGAIN'! AFTER WE ALREADY CALLED ALL THE PLACES TO SET EVERYTHING UP'! We even ordered a new fridge from Sears which was going to be delivered to the apartment AND had another company coming out to install the water line (for our fridge). Waterstone said that they found ONE place available and it was RIGHT next to the leasing office (literally the closest one), which we both weren't happy at all about. My gf talked to the manager of the Waterstone and she was actually yelling at her..What is that about'! It's OUR fault now'! Strike 3 Waterstone...
On a good note though, we did some more apartment shopping and found a MUCH better place that we'll be moving into shortly.
I almost want to call Waterstone and thank them for doing such a horrible job :)
