Parking is adequate, but not stellar. Sometimes you have to walk a bit to get to your apartment.

The buildings are in remarkable shape for their age. The plumbing is a source of headache, from time to time, but the maintenance staff respond quickly and the management is accomodating.

The apartments themselves are well-kept and are re-carpeted every 2 years. A recent renovation added (gas) fireplaces.

The facilities are outstanding. There is a well-maintained pool and jacuzzi, a clubhouse with an unstocked bar (for use by residents), a small gym equipped with strength and cardio gear, and with dry saunas and mens/womens locker rooms.

The management provides free aerobics classes every day, and water aerobics three times a week. Jim Kelly who gained fame as the ----" martial artist in the movie "Enter the Dragon," and later as a national tennis champ is the resident tennis instructor, and offers free lessons every Saturday, in addition to the community-sponsored tournaments. There are 4 full tennis courts on-site.

Richard's Hair Salon, located on-site, provides styling and barber services by appointment.

After office hours, the grounds are patrolled by a security guard. Until recently, the security patrol was useless, but, evidently, they got rid of the rotten ones and hired decent security.

The community is located on the bayside, facing downtown San Diego, and a ferry dock is within a few minutes walking distance from the property.

For the rent-range, you can}t beat the amenities, especially considering the location (on the bayfront, and in Coronado).
