Madera Vista Apartments are Marin countys most dangerous place to live. Fifty people are homeless after a fire destroyed one of the four-story apartment buildings in this Marin County community. The truth of the matter is that this fire was caused by a meth lab!!! Residents complained weeks before to management of strong smells coming from the unit the fire started in. Madera vista ignored these complaints and now 50 people are homeless and have lost everything. To top it off madera vista has no working fire alarms, residents were woken by two explosions or neighbors risking their lives going back into the burning build to go door to door waking sleeping residents. Madera Vista needs to be brought up on charges of negligence for not having working fire alarms. The residents were lucky to get out alive.

Madera Vista Management did not tell any of other tenants about the fire until 2 days later. The management did not even tell the existing tenants how they could help the tenants that were involved with the fire. I live at Madera Vista so I'm telling you first hand.
