Special staff From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/9/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   I've lived in apts for almost 10 years and here at the Lakes for the last two. I had a rough start with the office staff when I moved in (I won't mention her name - she is gone now), but since then, I have not had any major problems here. And lately, it seems things have really been changing. I had a maintenance man named Eddie work in my apartment recently and I can't tell you how nice he was. I have had similar encounters with Terry and Josh in the past, but this guy is truly special. When negotiating my lease renewal with the manager (handsome young man!!) I made it clear that his staff was the reason I was staying. They recently painted the hallways and they look great, and I don't know if they switched the cleaning company, but things are definitely cleaner. However - the staff is just great. We still have problems with the pool gate being broken, as well as the pool being dirtier than it should be because of the ducks. Also, they should allow larger vehicles in the garage as there is room for them if they moved the bar. They also should have more monthly functions. Last summer there were big parties each month and it was nice to have something in the elevator to talk about with neighbors!!! Overall, living here has been a good experience for me and lately, it has been great. Hope this helps.
