I agree with the three latest post the noise is deafening and a major inconvience. For what they are getting in rent it should be criminal! The upgrades are sadly twenty years overdue and not justifed for the new rents. Throwing up cheap ikea like cabinets and granite counter tops, lighting, upgraded carpet could be done for one months rent by most tenants. They are getting their money back with the first months rent for the upgrades. Fifty million' I doubt it I've seen the materials not impressive and the construction crews look like undocumented probably making well below market. They are gearing up for the bubble idiots who are defaulting on mortgages and hopeing they'll pay these inflated prices. But with the housing bubble bursting in So Cal, the falling greenback, oil due to hit $100 a barrel, and consumer spending pull back by early 2008 they are betting wrong. Nobody is going to pay these prices when infaltion hits next year. I believe the comment about 30-40 vacancy this past summer. Granted the grounds and gym ammenities are great but not for 2000-3500 a month rents especially with the construction noise and dust. I think for less you'll get more peace and newer upgraded in the vacinity look around folks. You are getting ripped off royally!
