I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and have lived here for almost a year now. I pay
2000 every month.

I looked at other apartments but was enticed by performing arts, south coast plaza and ofcourse my workplace was just minutes drive from this place so decided to rent it here.

The cons:
a. Unbearable noise level (from morning 7.30 Am when construction workers start coming in till 5.30 PM). When I say noise level, I mean to say both outside construction work as well within the apartments because of the renovation work going on in each and every empty apartment within your building!!! It is constant banging and banging and drilling.

b. Parking garage is always flooded and has a stink and I literally catch my breath till I am out of there!

c. atleast 3 burglary has come to my notice.
d. Management - worst staff, would not care whether you had any issues. Even if you
report any problem, they would just say, I know, it is really tough but we can't
do anything about it''' I thought management is supposed to atleast attempt to resolve the apartment issues''''

e. They have plumbing work always (meaning water is shut off daily between 9.00 AM
to 3.30 PM). Initially they used to have inform a day before but now, they don't even care to do that.

f. One might think, well the problem is only if I stay back at home, but I go for work, well I has similar plans. But what about those days when you would like to stay back and rest at home(can't do it, even for a minute or an hour). You are just paying
your rent for sleeping over in the nights until 7.00 (if you are lucky!!)

g. Debris, dust and construction work even on the corridor.
h. The elevator is occupied by the construction workers most of the time, meaning learn to use the stairs even when you are carrying something heavy!!

Pros:
Okay gym. but I can pay 30 dollars at one of the gym clubs and take an apartment that is lot more quieter and cheaper.

Bottom line, I would never suggest this apartment to anyone. It has been a nightmare!!

Listen up folks too many of us having the same experience. Renters beware! Too old, too expensive, too noisy!
