With all the lanscaping, you would think, wow, trees are so pretty; but in actuality, if you like bugs, move on in! I am the biggest neat freak in the world but because of all the old trees in the complex, they inevitably attract bugs that won't go away. When I told the office about it, they asked what kind of bugs they were and said that they can't do anything about it, "sorry". It seems like they think that they can mask the horrible office staff and bad plumbing, and bad parking, bad carpeting, etc, etc, with their gym and community areas. By the way, if you think that the washer/dryer in unit is nice, wait til it eats up your favorite sweater, and half the time the washer has to be run twice to make sure your cloths are clean. If you have money to burn, this may be the place for you, because the refrigerator freezes your vegetables, no not the freezer! and you end up having to buy double the groceries to compensate the possiblity of frozen vegetables. I just want an affordable nice apartment. The luxuries in the property comes secondary. There are much better staffed, newer, nicer apartment complexes around so don't live here - it is a DUMP!!! You will regret it if you move here!!! your rent will go up as well!

For the last year or so the quality has gone down and the rent prices up. This many negative reviews has to say something. 3400 is way over priced for the old infrastructure the improvements while nice as purely cosmetic and the plumbing, pipes and interiors are 80's. They are not upgrading heating and cooling units which are noisy. I'm not worried because my lease ends in May and I will start investigating other complexes. Don't bother with the Enclave across the street they have smaller sq. ft. and are just as expensive although newer construction. These property owners are under the illusion that the money and real estate boom is still in play. We're in a recession and people are losing jobs in O.C. the consumer is tapped and credit is contracting heck banks are going bankrupt with more to follow. They should be concerned with keeping full occupancy instead of jacking up the rents. I guess they think things are different in O.C. The deeper the economy falls they'll have to re- think their greed.Hopefully, they don't bet wrong and are sitting with hundreds of vacant re-modeled units that are over priced. This should be interesting to watch. Hopefully the Aimco execs are reading these boards.

Not really a dump, the remodeled units are pretty nice (but you pay $$ for it) and the stuff they have done to the gym and pool are nice. I agree that the older units (they call them the "classic style") are pretty crappy.
