Manager COMPLETELY Incompetent, Maintanence not thourough, NOT WORTH IT!

I dont know if there is enough room in this section to list all of the negative things about living here! But the worst would have to be the manager Bill and having to deal with him. You always get his machine when you call, he NEVER calls you back with answers to your questions (no matter what the answer may be), he promises things and leaves you hanging, he doesnt address issues and dishes you a bunch of crap when you call him on stuff just so you dont bug him anymore. The only time he calls you back is when he needs something. I have never dealt with such an incompetent person before. When we first moved in, we had a list of things that needed to be fixed by maintanence. We gave it to Bill, but they were never fixed. The dishwasher was not attached to the countertop and the whole dishwasher would lean forward when you open the door. The (very cheap)shower faucet came off the wall while the water was running and came shooting out of the pipes. The sliding glass door, to this day, doesnt lock so we have to keep something in the track so no one can get in. They said they fixed it, but it has the same lock and they wont change it. Bill promised us glass globes for the ceiling fans but we never received them so we gave up and bought our own. And the carpet was FILTHY with black spots everywhere when we moved in. Bill said he would have them clean it before we moved in, but it was never done. When new renters were moving in recently, their U-Hall was parked in a visitor's spot, blocking our entrance to get into our garage for 3 days straight. On the third day, we called Bill to ask him to ask them to move it and he rambled on about how he assumed they were going to return it to U-Hall that night because it costs to keep it everyday, when in reality, he didnt know when they were planning on returning it. But he never bothered to ask them to move it, so on the 4th day it was there, we had to ask them ourselves. But about 2 months prior to this, we got notices on our car parked in a visitor's spot for over 24 hours because we cant park in them for longer than 24 hours. The windows in the apartment dont close all the way. Cold air blows in from the edges of the front door. We hear all the traffic from the street in our apartment. The washing machines are OLD and dont wash your clothes good enough. And did I already mention what a pain-in-the-ass Bill is to deal with' We have tried to go above him and mention this to the owner of this complex who works at the office and he seemed to brush it off, not to care what we were saying, make excuses for Bill's "ways" and not care that his tenants (who pay his bills) are unhappy with the Manager. We will leave when our lease is up. Stay far away from this place, please.
