When I first moved here, this was a nice place. Mostly late 20s to early 30s professionals. The management was helpful and professional. There were some parties, some noise, but mostly people were good neighbors.
In the last 2 years this place has gone straight in the toilet.
It's become overrun by the worst kind of college student: the OCC student. A bunch of spoiled Orange County underacheivers, whose parents are fronting their rent and paying for their lifted four-by with the subwoofer; Jagermeister-swilling, tract home kids who think they're tough like a gansta.
And the management are a laugh: one step away from selling interest only mortgages over the phone from a dark, shabby room. With one exception, they are mostly unprofessionsal, dismissive, and sometimes downright hostile. Don't expect a return phone call if you leave a message. They didn't get it.
I'm tired of: * Being woken up by the retard below me, whose thumpa-thumpa music goes off at top volume at 6am and travels through the walls because s/he is too braindead to turn off the timer when s/he's away for the weekend. * The empty beer bottles, vomit, and cigarette butts that litter the walkways, elevator landings, pool areas and parking structure. * The loud parties and beer bottles that fly from balconies. * The *white* skateboarders singing along to *rap* music out in the street at 3am. * The crumbling gym equipment and the pool shower/restroom that looks like a horde of gypseys (and their donkeys) have livedthere. * Management who seem more interested in being in good with the punk kids so they can hang at their parties and show each other their tattoos, than actually doing the f***ing job and making this place livable. * Cars getting broken into, towed, vandalized. * The meth labs and frequent "Crime Scene Investigation" van visits.
This place has turned into a pit, and I'm finally getting a chance to move. I've tried to be patient that things would change, but no more. It's not getting better, it'll continue to get worse.
If you want to move into a dorm with no RA, this is the place.
Enjoy.
