I'v elived here for 12 months now and I originally signed a 14 month lease. I will admit that living here takes nerves and stomachs of steel. I've seen lude acts in public, peeing off balconies, loud fights/parties/music/neighbors/dogs etc., sex in the pools (in front of my daughter and I), trash thrown everywhere, drug use in public, drunks passing out and puking all over the complex and appliances that need replacing and don't get replaced. The management is responsive, but takes thier time about helping residents. I even had a group of guys ask myself and my teenage daughter if we woulndn't mind being video taped doing...! There are parties every wed, friday, saturday, sunday and every holiday break the college kids get. It's Very loud and gets very nasty after dark! Some buildings are maintained better than others, I had my trash shoot backed-up for the entire weekend and the 'kids' just kept taking thier trash and leaving it in the path in front of the shoot door! I've had cops running around trying to catch kids. I wouldn't recommend living here unless your'e looking for a place to have everything you own trashed and to just party through school while mom and dad foot the bill. Also, the office staff tried to raise my rent from 1347.00 a month to 1650.00 a month when I asked about a new lease ( curious what they would quote me for being a long term resident). They also carge the residents for the utilities, including water which means that the residents are not only paying to do thier laundry at the machines, but that they are paying again for the water the machines use and the gas the machines use too.
Enough of my rant, Camden Martinique hasn't been a very good place so far for myself and my daughter and I wouldn't want anyone to be fooled by the rental staff into thinking this is a good, wholesome, safe, place to live. It's not.
