I lived in Camden for an agonizing 15 months. The staff was rude, the car break ins were frequent, the tenants are loud 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the walls are thin, and the police were ever present on the property due to the constant drug use/dealing, drinking, partying and violence. One time when I had to call the police, they even finished my address for me because they knew exactly where I must have been calling from. Living at this property was a terrible experience, and I do not want anyone else to suffer through a lease term like many of the former/current residents have had to. We constantly recieved notices of sexual assaults, violence, mail robberies and car robberies on the property. Do not expect to get a good nights sleep or feel safe if you rent at Camden. I have never felt so scared in a place I was supposed to call 'home'.

I agree with you completely. My apartment got broken into recently. I was informed that the management did not want to have any surveillance cameras installed. Strange? The security guards here are pretty much busy taking notes of cars that are not supposed to park at certain spots rather than watching out for crooks who look suspicious enough to steal someone's belongings. I just cannot wait to move out of this place.

i totally agree my apt got broken into through the kitchen window which can be easily unscrewed and popped off FROM THE OUTSIDE. There have been fights outside my patio. iv been accused of being in a fight by the rent-a-cop security and received an eviction notice, the police were outside with the fighters and never came and talked to me yet they used my apt # in the report. i fought the report and several neighbors some that i havent met stepped forward and vindicated me of these rediculous charges. the security is a pathetic joke. i simply came out on my patio when i heard loud yells late at night i never left my apt nor did i say anything to the parties involved i just watched a 5 on 5 brawl down in the street yet somehow i was apart of it. i cant wait for my lease to be up! on the other hand they do a great job with landscaping the place is very clean, appliances work, lots of other young people, and relativly low cost. also it is right across the street from the college. i came here because other complex managers said that it is a party place, and its not that im all about partying but the thought of not worrying about noise complaints as much was very attractive. Not true the panzy security gaurds are dickheads with one exception. Then there are some older people that didnt think that living at a college complex was a bad idea and complain over tv noise that isnt loud at all. most of it depends on neighbors, my friends have much better neighbors than i do and simply call when they are annoyed which i tried but mine still call scurity. im out of complaints and living in a prison walking on pins and needles for the next couple months. The manager Linsay is allright she at least treates you like human beings while assistant trish is very cold and you can noot relate to her at all she is very disrespectful! so good luck
