Not too bad, but staff tended to be rude and unhelpful From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/24/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Our experience wasn't too bad but over the course of a year we had many problems with laundry and various things & had trouble getting them fixed. If you tried washing clothes with hot water it would drip out and end up stopping. I complained about it and was told sorry, just use warm water. Well I don't want to pay $1.35 (yes, $1.35 to wash your clothes $1.40 to dry) to wash my whites with warm water. So finally I kept complaining and it got fixed but just broke again about a month later and I didn't even waste my time trying to get it fixed again. We had to ask repetedly to get things fixed in the apartment; a shade fell off from the window and we waited weeks feeling that our privacy was being invaded because anyone who walked by could see right in, the light in the bathroom was going out and had to wait quite awhile to get that fixed. We got screwed with our deposit; we gave our noice ONE day late, a 29 day notice because we had just that day put an offer on a new place, and I knew we were cutting it close so I asked if it was going to be a problem and was told no, it will be fine. Well it wasn't fine, we got charged for an extra day. If someone would have just told us that we wouldn't have rushed and stressed out about getting out on that Saturday because if anyone had bothered telling us we were getting charged through that Sunday, we could have taken the whole weekend to move and taken our time. And rent is rediculous, the apartment was TINY and the rent was out of control. I'm glad to be gone. The place may be pretty but the majority of the staff was rude (with the exception of maybe two people). Don't let the pretty grounds fool you.
