I am a current resident waiting out my one year as well...
PLEASE read my response to rocketdogg post- info about the post is below since it is somewhat old.

basically i would like any suggestions about good places to rent instead.
Rocketdogg seemed to have found a good place.

ANY suggestions for alternate rental property is needed and welcome!

If you have money, I would recommend the Villa Sienna in Irvine. It's a very nice complex with great management.
