Seriously awful!

After living in the complex since June of 2003, I am thouroughly frustrated and disgusted with the complex. Besides the problem of mouse infestation (of which they provide $2.50 glue traps, instead of an exterminator), horrible security and failing apartment infrastructure, the management are some of the worst tempered and ignorant people I have yet encountered. If you really wish to live in this complex (you must be desperate), be prepared to make at least two visits a month to correct multiple errors in their bookeeping--which they will argue to the death, even though they are blatantly wrong. They do not follow through with ANYTHING, and it requires many call-backs, and practiacally outright coercion to get anything accomplished. Only to have to repeat the process all over again the next month. The trash bins are disgusting, and nothing is REALLY taken care of, except the pools and execise room. Both of which are used as promotional pictures for the complex, because using the insides of the apartments would cause bankruptcy. This complex WAS at one time a decent place to live, but new management by a "corporate" property management company, has left it in a horrendous state of disarray. Another poster was correct in writing about the security that preys on young women late at night (instead of protecting them), and management people that feel they need no permission to enter your back patio, or even your apartment, to satisfy their curiosity. There is no end to the headaches and problems at this complex. Better to avoid it altogether. Also, the rent that they ask for is outrageous for what you actually get--it would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic. Please seriously reconsider moving here. If you are still not sure, go by on a weekday, during the day, and talk to some of the tenants. Or, go by at night on a Sunday, and check out the noise level.
