Don't ever move here!

I hated this place after the 1st week I lived there! First off I was supposed to rent a downstairs unit. The main reason I chose Harbor @ Mesa Verde was the big back yards. Well on my move in date they said sorry we accidentally gave it to someone else the day before, so I had to take an upstairs unit. Then a few days later I had 20 wasps inside my apartment every day I came home due to a window that would not close properly. After weeks of trying to have maintenance fix it they come over and stuffed a piece of foam in my window seal! WTF!'! The wall mounted AC sucks a big one! My apartment was hotter inside than outside.

I also had issues with my kitchen sink and shower not working which took weeks to get fixed. For the 1st month I was there the pool/spa where closed for maintenance. I never once saw the tennis courts open during my stay there. Parking sucks! Dont ever plan on having guests. I swear I would see a tow truck every 30 minutes driving down the alley with a car behind it. There is dog poop all over the sidewalks from owners not picking it up. It smells like crap there when its rains! I used to wake up to the sounds of homeless digging in the dumpsters for cans.

The fitness center is a bunch of BS!.. You have to check out the key to access it from the leasing office and their hours are 9am - 6pm(fitness center hours where 6am to 10pm).. Which means I could not use the gym at 8pm when I got home from work, unless i left a $175 deposit for my own key. Security guards there are huge jerks too...I once got harassed at 9pm for going to get my mail. The sec. guard kept questioning if I lived there and what my name and apartment number was.

The laundry rooms really suck. They where so darn far away and bums and tweekers hung out in them so you must be careful not to have you clothes stolen. I always went to a laundry mat down the street.

Every night there are tweekers walking around. And helicopters shining lights on the complex. I once walked out of my apartment to find a drunk guy urinating on the tire of my brand new $45,000 truck!

After 7 months I had it! I put my apartment up on craigslist and found someone to take over my lease. I just let them keep my $200 security deposit. I couldn't be happier not living there anymore. The ONLY thing I like about the place was it being walking distance from Goldenspoon :).

This person is right on! I still live there and have hated it since my first week. Everything this person said is true.
