We've had a great experience here so far (been here almost a year and a half). We love the creek right outside our window. We've had some lousy neighbors, but with the month-to-month lease, they never lasted long. Right now we have some really nice ones, and that always makes the experience better. The creeks create a nice white noise, especially in the evenings.

I love the card-operated laundry machines. Who likes saving quarters' They have recently put in new washers and dryers and renovated the laundry rooms. They are always doing something to hike up the appearance of the place.

I don't care for the kitchen. The stove and dishwasher are nice, but the ugly dark wood cabinets... uck! Also, there is not enough (reachable) storage for pots, pans and dishes. You end up storing big things like microwaves, toaster ovens, rice cookers and crock pots on the counters, leaving no room for cutting up food. If more than one person is in the kitchen at the same time, you feel like you can't possibly turn around without knocking someone over.

Maintenance has been great. Everything we've requested so far has been fixed that same day. When I thought I lost my laundry key, they gave me a new one at no charge. They only raise rent once a year, and our first rent raise was only $15.

Overall, I think I would miss this place if we left. We want to eventually own a place, but this is a nice start and affordable enough with two people to be able to save for our own home someday.
