This was my first experience living in CA. Here are the pros and cons of living here for 3 and a 1/2 years at Pinecreek:
Here are the cons:
The rent was through the roof and was raised each year by $100.00.
The ant problem was unbearable! It was so bad that I had to chaulk it myself and then patch the other holes that the ants found.
There was the world's smallest pantry in the kitchen, and the ugly fake laminant on the countertops was constantly peeling.
There was a nail coming out of the floor that I constantly snagged my socks on.
The night security man was a sauna ----!
Tow trucks constantly prowl the area looking for cars to tow. We had our friends car get towed.
Here are the pros:
The maintenance staff was FABULOUS! I absolutely adored them. We broke a window and the maintenance guy who replaced it told us to mark it as a result of the window being jammed and we were not charged at all.
The walk-in closet is rediculously HUGE!!!
I loved being by the creek because it was so peaceful!
VERY QUIET! They took noise very seriously. We were written up once for playing video games too loud on a Friday night.
The amenities were really nice - we loved the pools and work out room.
Since I lived there for 3 and 1/2 years, we received all of our deposit back!!! =)
Overall - I think you could probably find a better deal out there however we had an overall enjoyable experience.

omg what a dumb***. Your maintenance guy does you a favor and you rat him out online. Thanks a lot buddy. Hope he didn't lose his job because of you.
