I felt it very important to write my own recommendation about Villa Venetia. I was looking around at some of these posts and can not believe the negativity.

I have lived here for almost 4 years now. I have NEVER seen a rat here. I have NEVER been towed. And the noise level is non-existent, with the occasional people coming home late on the weekends. But even then, I don't get woken up.

I also read about spider problems. Never have I experienced this either. That has just been a normal thing. A few here and there like anywhere. But they provide weekly sprays from the exterminator, which does not cost you a thing. So I just do it every 4 months.

Of course all I can speak of is from my experience and the building/location I live in. I am on the top floor with a lake view. I have heard the apartments by the pool closest to the office that remind me of Melrose Place....it's a cirucular envirnoment are a little on the noisey side because of the way it's laid out.

Maintenance is incredible here. The Manager of this team, Mike is fantastic and very quick to respond. The grounds are very well kept up and it's beautiful.

Parking for visitors is a nightmare. But I also know this to be true with a lot of areas in OC. There are some 'tricks' around it and I'm sure all will find them. But parking for myself has been fine. Only a couple of times has someone parked in my spot and I just call the tow place directly and they get someone out within a half hour.

Management...I do have to agree with some of the posts on this. The old Management team was great! But now it's true it seems almost always no one is in the office to answer the phone. The way around this, is to call a few times in a row and hm, surprise-surprise someone answers.

After hours is very, very fast to respond to calls/emergencies.

I have not had any major maintenance problems with my place. Just a few minor ones here and there, that are normal and expected.

So to sum up......the parking for guests is awful. It is sometimes hard to get ahold of office staff without calling numerous times in a row.....

But....too many GOOD things about this place that way, way out win the small bad I mentioned.

I love it here, and will probably stay a long time! So yes, do consider it......I have been here long enough to be able to state what it's REALLY like. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
