Good and bad, parking sucks

The biggest complaint I have about Villa Venetia is the parking. My roommates and I have a 3 bedroom. We received one parking space. Which isn't even very close to the apartment.
When I got in an accident and my old car was banged up, there didn't seem to be any communication in the office. I told the office about it and told them I was taking care of it, and the next morning I had a note on my car saying it would be towed.
The towing company they use, sits in the parking lot at night, waiting to pounce. If you do not have a parking pass, they will tow you. If you are a jerk and park in two spots, you are fine. Just as long as you have a parking pass.
The office staff is friendly and remembers names. The only one that I didn't care for was the manager. She seemed to me to just really hate her job. She was rude every time I had to speak to her.
It is a beautiful complex with lots of different animals around. The residents are for the most part, friendly.
There is the occasional party that goes on too long, but it is an apartment complex. Lots of people living in close proximity.
The security is only there to protect the property not you. It is written in your lease.
It is unfortunate that the management doesn't allow more personality to be displayed on patios and balconys, because it does make it prettier. In my opionion anyways. I always liked the lights up, reflecting off the water.
I dislike having to haul my laundry down to the laundry room, but I only have to do it once a month. Each laundry room has six (or so) washers and dryers. So I can get all my laundry done in just a couple of hours.
There are three (I think) pools, a tennis court, a vollyball pit and several barbeques around. None of which was used by me.
They have some small two-seater paddle "boats" that you could take out on the water. But I really advise against it. The last one we used almost sank. I don't know how deep that water is, but it is nasty.
Overall, once you get used to the parking (and by association, no guests) it isn't a bad place to live.

Bad rat problem. Management can be rude. After someone moves in, they won't return phone calls.
