This would be a much better place to live in if they change the management. With this new management, you can expect to get a general notice for moving your car from your assigned parking space within less than 24 hours for some non-critical maintenance work like repainting or re-striping or something like that. If your car is not moved, it will be towed away at your expense. The notice will vaguely suggest some alternate parking areas (uaually illegal zones). I personally have seen them towing away cars from the areas they have suggested as alternate parking areas. They have some kind of a business deal with this towing company and it looks like the towing company is doing a very good business with this management. Not sure about the details of this deal that they have. My personal experiece with this management and this towing company has been really bad. I would recommend that the renters park their car outside the apartment on city property or find some other parking if they plan to leave their car un-attended for more than 12 hours, even if they have their own assigned parking space.
I seriously hope that other renters would speak up and these kind of reviews will prompt them to change the management; otherwise moving out and warning others is the only other option that I have. I have been living in Covina for a few years and I know that there are lots of other apartments that, for the same price has much better facilities and better management.
I would not recommend this aparment to anybody.
