Eh, it's ok...

I've lived in the Meadows for around a year and am moving out and into a house.

I've found the Meadows staff to be very friendly and responsive.

The security is essentially nonexistant and there are around 2 break-ins a month (700 unit complex), almost all are on the first floor.

The windows are cruddy and not secure so I would recommend living on the 2nd or 3rd floor and always locking your balcony.

Parking for your guests stinks and it's impossible to describe to them how to find your apartment so you must walk down to bring them in.

The grounds are so-so.

Prety bland in most areas away from the leasing office (no surprise).

My appartment is on the third floor and has very high cathederal ceilings with wooden beams, very nice but hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to there being little or no insulation.

As far as it being pricey, I don't agree with the other reviewers.

I think that the $1300 I'm paying is pretty much ok.

I did a lot of looking on the West LA area before moving in here and could not find anything close to this nice for that kind of money.

So no, it's not cheap, but as far as I' concerned the next alternative is to buy a place, like a condo.

My appartment faces Green Valley Circle and is VERY noisy so, caution.

Overall I've been pretty happy, other than the crime and the cruddy security.
