One of my biggest regrets in the past two years of my life was moving into the Meadows Apartments; what a truly frustrating experience.
The garbage situation is out of control. Garbage is not picked up everyday so by Sunday the garbage receptacles are overflowing and allover the grounds€¦makes you feel as though your living in a third world country at times. If you get locked out, forget it you're ---- out of luck, doesn't matter that they have duplicate keys in the office, the answer is always no...I had to spend the night in a hotel because they refused to let me in my own apartment. The walls are so paper thin that every other night I am subjected to my neighbors going at it during their sexual escapades. Oh, and you can't hang any pictures on the wall because there's asbestos, but they claim there's no worries as long as you don't puncture the walls...hmmm' And now that I'm moving out, of course it's too much to ask that things go smoothly. I faxed them my thirty-day notice, called to confirm with the office that they received the letter and the representative assured me she did receive the letter. Three weeks later and it's like I'm speaking a different language, no one has record of my letter and they want to know why I'm moving out' It doesn't matter that they accidentally sent me a notice two months early telling me that my lease was up a month earlier than stated in the lease contract.

Trust me if your considering the Meadows, I urge you to rethink your decision. With all the aggravating circumstances/conditions you€˜ll be forced to live with, they should be paying you to live there and not the other way around.
