My roommate and I have lived in the apartment for a while, and things that were not fixed when we moved in still haven't been fixed almost a year later. Every 4 months I have to remind the on-site manager to fix something and he says he will set up appointments to have it done, but I have yet to see that. ALMOST A YEAR LATER. And I agree, the chop-shop in the garage has got to go! It amazes me that our on-site manager and his family find 8 hours a day to clean, detail, and fix their vast fleet of cars, but can't swing by my apartment to fix a leaky faucet. Lastly, on my rant about the on-site manager, he is never available by cellphone. I had a technician come (I had spoken to the manager beforehand) and he couldn't get in because the manager was unreachable by cellphone--3 days in a row! If I knew who to go to with my complaints, I would have gone to them long ago. We as tenants need someone that we can go to when things are wrong in our apartments.
On the up side, parking's never a problem, the pets that live here aren't noisy (although the ones behind the building could use muzzles!), and the location is pretty great. The one down-side' That APARTMENT MANAGER!!
