Nice, relatively new place. Not an interesting neighborhood.

The main problem with CentreMark/Avalon Cupertino is the location. It?s not the interesting half of Cupertino. It does have easy access to 280, Lawrence, and Stevens Creek, however.
Good construction. Solid, nearly soundproof. Washer and dryer in every unit is nice. A/C is a dinky wall-unit instead of central air, but most places in the Valley seem to be the same there.
No DSL service to the complex, and cable modem requires buying the special complex-wide cable system (not AT&T), which is too expensive for the channels you get.
Phone lines also prevent 56k modems. Only 28.8kbps possible.
