I'm the original writer who posted the review on 3/7...Yes I'm still living here because when I renewed my lease back in April/May they did not increase my rent. At that time I was still hoping that things would improve as time goes on. But I'm totally wrong. I totally agree with all the people who posted their reviews regarding the bad management. I live in the apartment which has the underground garage parking. Gates were opened all the time (even when they are not brorken) and if I'm lucky I would be able to catch one of the workers and asked them to please close the gate. The office would not even care about this. When Avalon was in management, I felt totally safe to give permission for the workers to come in to my apartment and do misc. work. Now I don't feel safe at all. I have to make sure I'm at home when someone can come in and do work. Also surrounding areas are always dirty with trash/fallen leaves/dusts. No one even bother to take care of this. In regard to the painting, honestly speaking I don't see any problems with the old paint. They still looked very new. I'm sure that we as tenants are paying for the paint job and am pretty sure that by my next renew I'll see a substantial increase in my rent. In conclusion this management (ARCHSTONE) has totally downgraded this apartment complex. It just doesn't worth to pay that much to live in this crappy place. I really miss the days when Avalon was managing this complex.
