In the year plus I have lived here the following has happened: I have had two SERIOUS mold infestations and lost property and work time due to repairs. Archstone settled $250.for the second one in my closet and my dry cleaning bill alone was $237 I had to throw away coats and long skirts and paperwork for my parents estate all was a total loss. The mold was growing up the wall and stuck to my clothing. This was the second infestation. The first had me without a shower for three weeks. Archstone does not care about the tenants after they move in it is not the complex it was when my son lived here under Avalon. My person has been accosted by roving teens. My new car (less than one month old)parked underground and alarmed was broken into and the window smashed and interior destroyed! Rent raised by huge amount and no consideration for losses I suffered. Archstone is "not responsible" for security problems and yet they represent the comlex as safe. The code to the gate has been written on the box for non-residents to get in! Some security! Children living here are very destructive to property and rude about behavior running around in halls and slamming doors for fun. We had a fire alarm pulled and spent a recent evening at about 11:00 pm out in the cold for fire dept to give all clear; you could not stay in your apt the alarm was so loud it hurt your ears so you had to go stand in the cold.
