Keep looking - unless you want bargain basement From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/5/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   On the surface it's a great place, but after living here you see why you can bargain down to low price: 1. Parking - there is ZERO parking. Tell you friends to park across the street at Rite Aid. We recently renewed for 6 months with an extra reserved spot, only to find out after signing that spot wouldn't be free for another week. They seem to have no problem renegging the "little" things after lease signing. If you want to fight for parking with residents who cram 10 people with their own cars into a 2 bedroom, this is your place. 2. Understaffed - they have 1 mainenance guy trying to do 1.5-2 guys' jobs. The rear entrance pedestrian gate's lock has been missing ever since I moved here. So much for access control! Once, the front vehicle entrance access console screen was worn out so badly that arriving guests couldn't look you up to get in. It took weeks to get it fixed. One of the office staff members, Sabina, has a BAD attitude and acts like you asked her to eat her own kids when asking for ANY kind of assistance with issues. They will do as little as legally (and sometimes illegally) possible to cut costs, seemingly ignoring the fact that most residents bolt after living here, due to the sub-par conditions. 3. trash and recycling bins overflow and create an eyesore on a weekly basis. 4. The "heated" pool is actually in the low 70's, so forget about swimming except in the hottest months, regardless of what they say when selling you the apartment. I realize no apartment is "perfect" - they are in business to make money. Aviare is getting my business for 6 more months only because I got what I think is a killer deal at the time. After it is up, I will definitely be out of here, unless drastic changes are made.
