I agree with the last three negative posts. The one that obviously came from a staff member is a big lie. Who would take the time to write a lengthy review defending a place they currently live' Seems fishy. The latest management at Forge Homestead are definitely overbearing and cold people. They show no concern for a majority of their residents.

We moved out a month ago and got very little of our deposit back. They charged us for things that should be covered under normal apartment upkeep. We did nothing to damage or alter the apartment but were charged for things that were a problem when we moved in two years ago.

The thing about the notes is true and unbelievable. All of the sudden you get a note for doing something wrong that was no where mentioned on the agreement that you signed. It seems as if they have a few favorite residents that they cater to. The rest are just forced to deal with "new" rules. I recall one note saying that kids were playing too loud in a public area. We're talking little kids, and during the day. How could the management not allow kids to play' We don't have kids but I would never complain if I heard them playing at a decent hour.

We too had a problem with rodents, even under our sink there were droppings found. The apartment was always cold. A 10 year old wall unit does not cut it.

Gardeners early in the morning wacking weeds next to your bedroom window. The only positive thing is that the grounds are well kept. But those two cancel each other out.

The parking spots are so tiny. I have scratches and dings all over my car.

I'd keep looking, save yourself from a horrible experience.
