Glenbrook has gone rotten!

I made a positive comment sometime in July 2002, when we first moved in. We did have had some very good moments in this apartment during our one year lease. BUT

The management is reluctant to reduce the already skyrocketed rent. I remember seeing a line in the lease agreement that says the management have "the privilege" to increase the rent according to the market value, with a month?s notice. How about reducing the rent in par with the market price'' The price for J1B(600sqf)varies from $1200-$1600!

If you want to be spiderman, please come! They are everywhere..even inside my car! Hard to believe.

The noise from Highway 85 can be pretty intolerable, depending on the location. The solution' close all the windows tightly!

The thin walls' Our neighbor love to pump up their stereos all night long. Although it wasn?t loud, the bass drum was irritating and kinda made me blues. We?re on the first floor, so when someone walks up the stairs, I could feel the vibrations..

And the worst part is still the smokers. At one time, one neighbor on the right and one on the ground floor, were heavy smokers. Glad that they have moved. But the nightmare didn?t end there, the new tenants that moved in is worst. He?s not working and stays at the patio all the times, and not without his puffs.

I remember when i first moved in, people are very generous with their smiles, but these days many rude people start flocking into this area. Occupying the whole function-room and the swimming pool to themselves. And in the laundry room, they simply open other people?s dryer door, and forget to close it back. So when it?s time to pick up the laundry, the load is still wet.

Getting a parking at my location is getting harder and harder after 6pm. One parking space is assigned. I usually have to walk one two blocks away to find a parking. I don?t see too many vacancies in this complex, regardless of the economy condition. Probably this is why the management simply don?t care if we?re staying or not. If we resist to increase our rent by the end of the lease, they are pleased to advise us to leave this place.

Plus side' Location..location...location and nice landscaping! The workers are extremely hardworking, busy as a bee!
