This incident happened about a yea ago, so I may not remember some details accurately.
I put down a deposit ($600) for this apartment and was told I had three days to come back and cancel to claim a full refund.
The third day happened to be a Holiday, so the agent told me that I could let him know the first thing next working day.
When I called him the next working day, he was not there. So, I left him a message, cancelling the intent to rent and requested a refund.
When I finally found him the day after, he told me I was too late and flat refused to refund my deposit.
I called the manager, to no avail. I also called Project Sentinel, to help me get my refund.
They called the management office, but again, the management would not even listen and basically said it was my mistake.
Yes, my mistake to have believed them in the first place.
