Expensive and nice, but differ in rating of 10/20/2003 review

I agree with most of the postings. It is expensive, but what does one expect for the upscale, gated enviornment. I need the in-house washer/dryer, which work okay. However, the refridgerator is loud and sometimes leaks, the dishwasher does not clean dishes well. Gas prices are pretty high these days so it is not a selling point to me that the water heater and stove are gas-powered. Management is usually responsive, but if there needs to be follow up to fix a problem it is usually forgotten. It has happened over and over. Agree that new manager is "highly charged". The place already had too many rules before him as I found out after move-in. Parking is a real problem; can't believe someone rated it a 4 in the 10/20 review. Also there have been a number of break-ins of cars in the parking lot. It is kind of weird to be living adjacent to a huge (HP) office complex area. There is noise from Hwy 280 and also resident cars going by. Don't be fooled by talk about their "double-pane" windows blocking noise and insulating the place; it does neither. The place definitely has an upscale and clean feel though. Currently I do not see too many pets around; maybe because they only allow small pets that are indoor type.
