good and bad From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/6/2006 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   This apartment complex has some good and bad things about it. The Good: 1.very nice landscaping 2.great maintenance crew 3.nice finishing touches like granite counter tops, nice lamps shades over bathroom lights, and light yellow paint white trim inside. 4. moderate sound insulation compared to other bay area apartments (more on this later) 5. nice central location in safe area The Bad: 1. RIGHT next to 280 2. As a previous reviewer said, sounds from the common areas outside the walkways, stairwells, under your bedroom window really comes into the apartment. 3. Expensive 4. Vibration noise carries strongly in the building, footsteps, doors shut hard 5. Hard to keep heated in the winter - heat rises up to the 9 foot ceiling so it's hard to get the whole space warm
