Units are pretty bad at The pointe at Cupertino. I am staying at a Unit which is next to the freeway(280) which runs by the complex. I am a very light Sleeper and have hardly got peacefull sleep since I moved in here. I made several verbal requests to get a Double pane window installed to reduce the Noise but to no effect. Manager is pretty arrogant and Place is not maintained properly. I also made a written request expaining the above problem , but no action has been taken so far.
I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Actually, when i talked to them recently they said they have double paned windows...hmmm...i wonder now...thanks for the info...maybe i'll just check for noise when i go back there...

Yeah, the noise is a big headache, and they don't offer double pane windows to solve this problem. But they don't mind you install it at your own expense. Further more, I don't think the wall is insulated which minimizes the effects of double pane windows.
