The construction at Villa serra apartments is creating a mess for current residents and management is unresponsive. this mess includes:
- Hazardous living condition with open toilets kept in park
- Inconvenience to resident due to heavy construction work including Noise, fenced areas etc.
- No swimming pool for more than a year.
- No Gym, no tennis court, no vollyball court
- No Play area for Kids. The proposed park will be ready after 2 years only. (minimum)
- Parking space for many of us will go away.
- Construction vehicles blocking residents vehicles during school pickup times.
- Available guest parking will be reduced drastically to accomodate new apartments and new residents.
- We have to park our cars away till the construction is going on in our closing area.
- Residents will bear the cost of water used during construction.
- Laundry will be moved to a temporary trailer. That trailer will be moving around the property to cater all the laundry needs. Proposed washer/dryer in apts will take 1 year.
- Construction will impact the maintenance requests service times. Without the construction itself the maintenance request takes anywhere between 1 - 4 weeks.
- No detailed information was provided to residents about the construction and how will it impact. When many of us asked the details, we were told to go to the city site to get the information. City website hardly had any information. At the same time, many residents were offered to sign new lease with increased rent and were told that there will be hardly any impact on the residents so increased rents are justified.
- Many of the residents feel that they were cheated by the way they were misguided about the construction impact.
- Concerns over lease terminaction penalties and paying high rents for the units without any amaneties.

BEWARE about renting this apartment. It's better to live somewhere else than getting cancerous surrounding effecting your health. Most of the current residents are planning to break the lease and go to consumer court against the management.
