Where do I start' AS of 12/23/08 CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE TO BE PUT AWAY DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS AND IT'S MANDATORY WITH A CORPORATE WALK THROUGH. WHAT' Can we say lawsuit and a violation of my freedom of religion and practice of CHRISTIANITY!.. Last year we had a contest and this year they want to stop us from participating in our religious beliefs Dec-January.. EXCUSE ME!!!! A handful received notices, unbelievable! Rent is way to high $1325 for a 1 bedroom and $1700 for a 2 Bedroom they are more pet friendly than kid friendly, they have false advertisement, refuse renewals from tenants who have been here for years, rent goes up as soon as your lease is up ($100 - $150 each year, last month 20 vacancies!) They do not care about their residents, they tried taking parking spaces away from long standing residents, they have stolen from (scooters, bikes, skateboards and etc if found outside from children and there are no lost and found notices) They store them in the shed and take things out of storages w/out consent of previous apartment tenant ($3000 of ski equipment taken and not accounted for)for a tenant who transferred to another apartment, they can never get the parking spaces correct, No timely notices, never accurate, sometimes no notices at all, especially 30 day notices, managers come in with close fisted rules, one day late for rent and your out, what color curtains, how many plants and what you can have. They cheat their residents and give specials to new residents while the old ones pay out of their wazoo's, do not honor requests from current tenants (apartment transfers:new applicants:always first because they make more bonuses) I personally have spoken to an old employee who quit Western Property Managment/Arbor Court because of UNETHICAL practices within the corporate procedures! No manager on site:there were druggies hanging out in the pool areas, outside kids leaving condoms by the jacuzzi, making out, smoking in front of tenants, and weed in the bathrooms and even harrassing tenants, noise until 3 am because there is no security late nights. Management has turned over 6 times since I've been here: (2 yrs) all but one-extremely extremely controlling and unresponsive. Takes weeks for one fix, closet doors are always breaking, never replaced, carpets are to light so they can keep your deposit,(even when left sparkling they still charge you for cleaning) We have to pay Trash, water, gas and electric. They send out notices about this and that and it's not even in the contracts. The pools are not heated, and when it is still freezing cold not to waste $$, security gates are always brokens, gym is very small and it's not 24 hr, doors are locked after 10 pm. They lie and have false advertisement and get you at the end of your lease! OH AND IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE AND BREAK YOUR LEASE YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM $1000.00, WHAT'''''
I will never recommend it to anyone I am looking to break my lease and get the &*&*&*&&*& out of here. The only thing I liked is it was close to my son's school. Now they just started construction and have stated rent will be raised again for everyone $100 in their renewal leases, $1425 for a one bedroom, it's more than most morgages out there, you've got to be kidding me.. They are taking advantage of the market and using it for their selfish/greedy rip off antics.........
I can not stand it but I am locked into a lease that will cost me too much $$ to leave.. Unbelievable, many tenants are unhappy and not renewing their leases!
Oh yea, this place is a charm--the property management is greedy and can care less about their tenants, once you are in it's like a prison (ArborCourt Prison)with all of their rules, and "uniformed" antics... Come on I pay to much for this!
