Avalon at Cedar Ridge is a nice complex, great landscaping, pretty safe ( I worked late nights and felt comfortable walking to and from the garage late at night), wonderful community manager, adequate fitness center, and great parking, (keep in mind that I had my own garage so I never had a problem finding a parking space)! However, the apartments are very small and high priced for the space provided. BE PREPARED to wage an ongoing battle with MOLD! It is everywhere: window sills, floors, doors, carpets, and it will even start to grow on anything you leave on the floor such as a pair of shoes that I had to throw away. I've heard other residents have much worse stories about the mold problem than me, but believe me I had to deal with it too. Of course, you are right in the fog so I guess fog and mold go hand in hand. If you happen to rent a bottom floor apartment be warned that the porches above will leak right into your apartment! And of course there are the planes that fly over often, but that's what you get for renting by the airport and believe me you will get used to them! I've lived there for three years and the pros definetly outweigh the cons. However, if you want to rent there brace yourself for high rent and apartments that aren't worth it!!!!
