Ghetto Chic

Crown Colony at first glance appears to be a clean & safe place, but in actuality is grungy and worn. It ghetto chic. After 2 years renting here's an honest evaluation:
Pros-
1 reserved parking spot.
decent floorplans.
fake fireplaces.
maintained grounds.
close to freeway (280).
pretty quiet, very seldom hear neighbors.
Airplane noise is minor (I actually like the sound)
Shuttle to BART during commute hours (Colma Bart however)
Cons-
Lots of shady characters who leave trash around, write graffiti, and make a mess.
No visitor parking (forget having friends over).
Too expensive.
Too many speed bumps!!
Security Guards are worthless (ie NO English)
General lack of concern for others property.
Recycling cans are long ways away.
Underground parking is dark.
Overall, this place isn't too bad. It's just not that great. Save yourself the trouble and move somewhere nicer if you can afford it. Recommended with reservations.
