In my experience, the management (general manager and maintenance) were really kind, responsive, personable and friendly -- really the best I have come across, ever. The place is always cleanly maintained. Units are also clean, and newer than many out there.
The only reason why we moved was because I didn't like Daly City much at all, and we needed a 2 bed, but at the time they were not available. Noise from the street and highway is a bit of a bother, but you can close the double pane windows and you will be fine.
If you want to be in Daly City, I would highly recommend the apts.
