Not That Bad...

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I am just finishing my 14 month lease here at Skyline Heights and it has been an okay experience. Although $1400 for 650 square feet seems ridiculous, everything is that expensive here it seems. Pacifica is a little bit cheaper though- if I were staying in the area I would probably move there next. The apartment is in okay shape- old appliances, very little storage, some electrical outlets don't work. We've had problems with our refrigerator and the stove is really old.
They have been doing a lot of renovations this year though- new sod, redid the pool, painting the outsides of buildings. It also seems like each time there is turnover here, they spend a lot of time working on cleaning and repairing the apartments for the next tenant. We never have bugs either.
As far as management, our leasing agent was awesome. Her name is Maria and if you visit or move here make sure she's the one that helps you. The others who work here seem indifferent and snobby. One of the maintenance guys is really helpful and nice also- can't remember his name though.
The laundry units are pretty good here. They are in separate buildings next to the trash cans and each load costs $1 for wash and $1 for dry.
