I lived on Poncetta for just over two years, and it was a very bad experience.

The building is in poor shape. There are water leaks in the garage, and no one is interested in fixing them. The common areas are dirty. The top floor (not sure about the others) gets extremely hot in the summer when it's sunny outside. It can be 25 degrees hotter inside than outside. Who would have thought that high temperature would be a problem in Daly City'

Parking is horrible, unless you have a garage spot. The parking lot is full of disabled vehicles that are just taking up space. They never get towed.

Many neighbors are inconsiderate. Some leave their garbage in the hallways for days, smoke in the stairwells and garage, leave shopping carts all over the hallways.

But the worst part is the staff. It's very hard to get maintenance. After hours and during the weekend calls go to an answering service. They are rude, and they have *always* ignored my requests. During business hours it's a bit better, but it's still very hard to get service. No one ever returns their calls to resolve problems. I had a problem with an improperly installed satellite dish (my fault). I tried for a couple of weeks to reach the person signing the letter they sent me, to apologize and discuss how I should resolve the problem.
