Westlake Village Apartments

Worst apt complex to live in D.C. From: cocodreamer Date posted: 8/26/2002 Years at this apartment: 1995 - 2002   Unfortunately I had the displeasure of living at Westlake for the past 7 years...I couldn't move anywhere else because it's too expensive to live by yourself in the Daly City/SF area. The maintenance dept is terrible....i have made numerous complaints and no one cares. The maintenance service phone line is clueless....and most times the answering service picks up and has no idea what's going on. When referred to people in the main office, you'll just get their voicemail and no one ever calls you back. I called maintenance for a week straight about a broken lock on a entrance gate but no one did anything. It didn't get fixed until a month later. I even left William Chouka the GM a message and also the maintenance manager...NO RETURN CALLS. I had to go around the complex to the other main door for a month's time. Just this past weekend 655 Lake Merced complex had no running hot water from Friday till who knows when....I can't believe i lived at this complex for this long. I am finally moving out next month. Good riddance. Word of advice---don't you dare move in this godsaken place. Especially 655 Lake Merced...it's the most ghetto area to be.
