These apartments are the worst on earth for a big expensive price. They are dirty and pretty old. I was in Crestwood Dr and the walls were thin and very damp. Mould grows on walls, carpet, bathroom and evrywhere. You can here people having sex upstair and couple fighting next doors. The kids play football in the courtyard and bang on the doors and windows. Trash is everywhere. The management doesn't care. The security is poor. There are drug addicts in the alleys after 9pm. If you keep something on a hallway it is gone in one night (even a broom). People outside the apartment complex come and dump their junk and abandon their old furniture here at midnight. Although pets are forbidden there are cats everywhere and dog poo in the courtyards. Cleaning takes place only occasionally. The carpets get worn off within 3-6 months as they are the poorest of quality and cheapest. Parking is unimaginably difficult esp after 5pm and in weekends.
When someone comes to the rental office the staff paint a picture next to heaven and you find it is a hell in weeks after moving in. The staff is dishonest and lie to you. There is a woman called Maria whose job is to fool new comers and make them future residents. Once you pay your security deposit you find things happen painfully slowly, and you will have to call yourself several times to even get the keys before movein. There is a white woman in the administration office (where you pay rent) who is rude, does not make eye contact and never smiles (the Asian lady is good).
Fires are not uncommon. But thanks to vigilant neighbours and Daly City Fire Department (you see them here often) they are contained quickly. Do not call the maintenance or the Patrol, it is useless (call 911).
Over all, I will not advise anyone to move into this complex, unless you can't find anyother place and no one else is giving you an apartment (these people will rent apartments to anyone, even to those who have a bad credit history if willing to lay down a little higher security deposit).
