This place sucks!

The only good thing about this place is that you are near the ocean. Other than that, do not rent here. The resident manager (an older man who I won't name) is obnoxious to deal with. You will be lied to, you will have no privacy, and you will spend half your time listening to the manager's sarcastic banter. You can be the best tenant in the world and you will still be treated like crap by the manager. You can go above the resident manager and try to contact the management company(based in L.A), but be prepared for unprofessionalism there too.
This place does not care about it's tenants. At one point, all tenants were evacuated for fumigation (not reimbursed for accomodations), only to come back to no hot water for nine days. Cars have been broken into on several occasions, there is a history of rat infestation, you will have solicitors come to your door at all hours, you will not have maintenance done to your apartment if something needs fixing, the walls are all paper thin so forget about peace & quiet. Also, both streets (la cresta and cordova) are extremely loud with cars and noisy neighbors. NOTHING will be done about any of this, but the resident manager will make sure that his apartment is fully upgraded and that he has TWO parking spaces just for himself.
