Loved living there - We couldn't make a trip to Davis before we actually moved there. So we found this apartment online and signed the lease by fax. Rundown but cheap and close to campus - My stay was some time ago so things may have changed since then. For better or worse, I'm not sure. Despite the grounds and apartment being rundown and my apartment being cooled by a swamp cooler instead of air conditioning, I was very cozy during my stay. Probably one of the best places to live in Davis - I've been living here for ~2 years now and haven't had any problems at all. Staff is friendly and maintenance is prompt. Sound echoes a little bit within the hallways but that's fine. There's always plenty of parking and it's one of the closest apartments next to UC Davis.
