I had the WORST experience!!!! I loved the apartment itself but as time past the management became HORRIBLE!!!! Steve the Handy man is a cool and great guy! When he ACTUALLY comes to fix your stuff six times out of ten it would be fixed, the other FOUR times you would have to keep calling the incompetent front office staff to beg for him to come back! My kitchen sink could not hold potato peels or rice and had a FOUL odor which management failed to ever fix!! I had roommates from HELL (TOTALLY NOT their fault but MY OWN!) however I tried to get out of the lease legally by telling the management I was not going to live there anymore and they told me "NO! I had to get a new roommate which was fine! BUT my tryflin old roommates were taking me to court and when management were told of this matter they took me off the lease with one days notice!!! EVEN though I had been in contact with them for months to take my name off the lease! They used their BIG WIG lawyers and catch 22's to take me off the lease at their discretion with ONE days notice put somebody new on the lease and ----ED me OVER on the deposit so they would have no part of the legal woes!! Every time I tired to contact not only the horrible staff at Alhambra but I also contacted the parent company St Anton LLC they had a habit of NEVER calling back!!!! :( AND did I mention they NEVER even gave me a deposit or a letter itemizing WHY they did not!!! I tried to settle out of court but they said "WHO CARES we're prepared"! BASTARDS!!! To this day I have YET to receive ANY deposit back!!! The management are COMPLETE ASS HOLES and will ---- YOU OVER!!! If you have any problems with people morally ------- you over DONT move HERE!!! The apartments are decent for the price but be aware of the saying: " you get what you pay for!!!" Don t say I didn t warn you! Whenever you have a problem NOBODY associated to the complex will help you be it with your deposit or your apartment itself!! The chain of command is: Olga, Andrew, and the people in the office! All incompetent and could care less after they receive their money!!! :( There are WAY better apartments in Davis for the money! And it is SUPER far from campus, and construction has began and they start at 8AM!!!! My roommates car got broke into on a number of occasions! Parking is DECENT! No assigned paarking which is great! BUT the first month of the quarter parking is scarse! so get home EARLY!!!
