Where do these people come from' I could never get a decent night of sleep because of crazy hollering, horns honking and music blaring in the parking lot at night. The help of the police was sometimes required to shut up noisy party-goers. Our neighbors had several loud parties. When we once left them a note on their door asking them to keep the commotion indoors so we could sleep, I heard them mocking us---really respectful! Some residents were also quite dirty, leaving what seemed like hundreds of cigarette butts strewn on their porches/stairways. Additionally, anyone who left a pumpkin on his/her porch on Halloween found it smashed the next day by drunken idiots. Occasionally, silly string would end up on doors, and corn startch/flour on top of cars. The general immaturity and lack of consideration of some residents toward others made this a very unpleasant place to live.

Also: is it too much to ask that apartment designers create a living space in which every single sound doesn't carry' The walls and doors are so thin that in a 4-bedroom townhouse I could hear things going on in practically every room in the place, from my bedroom upstairs. The staircases from the back porch are metal, and very clunky-sounding when one ascends or descends them...annoying if your bedroom is by the back porch. Because of how the apartments are situated, you will always be either next to someone else's bedroom, by the back porch stairs, by the front porch (listening to your neighbors slam their doors), or by the parking lot---subjected to all kinds of madness, resultant of the types of people who live here.

Allegre just doesn't have a very homey feel. I never really felt comfortable in my apartment the whole time I lived there because I didn't feel safe from people's inconsideration, especially at night. You can definitely find somewhere more pleasant to live. You won't get what you pay (dearly) for living at Allegre.
