Since the time that I wrote the last review, things have happened that I think I should comment on...

The complex changed IPs a few weeks ago. Internet sucked for a couple days which was understandable. But then all of a sudden, they request us to purchase the adapters we received for free when we first moved in. They said the internet is still slow because they didn't expect that many people to be online all the time although we are mostly students here. Also, they say that internet is meant for web surfing and e-mailing only... We can't download anything because soon they will have a system that will boot us off if we do. Yup, track individual usage of the net... Something about that seems strange to me.

I've gotten to know other people in this complex and they feel the same way about this stuff.

One guy who lives downstairs told me that he can hear every little thing that goes on upstairs... I wouldn't know about that from experience but I believe it because even if I tiptoe, the floor creaks. I hear faucets at night from my neighbors, can hear their conversations when I walk through the halls, and whatnot. I guess I'm just noticing this stuff more than before.

They also have rules about this place like, we can't nail anything onto the walls or will be charged $20 per hole. Can't use blue toilet cleaners because it stains toilets.

Although the washers and dryers work well, you're looking at $2.50 per load together whereas the last place I was at was $1.50 per load.

Another thing that is inconvinient is that parking out in the front, you can't really make a u-turn to face the right direction cuz cops will pull ya over. I've seen if a few times.

Um, yeah, the list goes on. But it sounds like a lot of places in Davis are crappy or really pricey for students paying their own ways... What has the world come to'
