We would not recommend this apartment complex. There are apartment complexes in the same price range that are better maintained and nicer in Davis. Check Craigslist, the Davis Enterprise, and Google websites of apartment managers in Davis for other places to live.

1. Security Deposit: Be sure to do a walk through of the apartment with the manager and take photos when you move in. The apartments are old and not maintained, and management will attempt to take your security deposit when you move out if you do not document everything that is a problem with the apartment when you move in. This includes paint, level of cleanliness and whatever might be on the carpet when you move in.

2. Cockroaches: There were cockroaches everywhere in the apartment. We kept our apartment very clean, but we would find lots of cockroaches in our silverware drawers, on the kitchen counters, bathroom and bedrooms. We couldn't do anything to keep them out. This is one of the reasons we chose another place to live in Davis.
