All the positive reviews with 5's are most obviously by the managament, as was pointed out. I got a decent deal this last year, but the prices are going up quite a bit now. My advice is to not move in. The carpet here is terrible and is not real carpet. Also, the walls are shittier than most places. I had frequent maintenence problems with little help from the management. These are old ------ apartments that are not kept. The windows get very moldy during the winter because there is no seal in them. Like I said, during the summer with the window closed, air still circulates. Living downstairs is horrible due to the poor construction--you can hear everything upstairs. The dumpsters are not emptied regularly and occasionally start to smell. Laundromat onsite that charges high prices (1.25 per small load). The window broke on me and almost gave me some bad cuts because it is not tempered; just another example of how antiquated this place is.
THE HIGH SPEED INTERNET IS A LIE. The pings one gets on the network is rather fast, maybe 20ms, but the bandwidth is very limited by the outside company used to supply the apartments. I had generally good coverage with little downtimes, but the bandwidth is usually 20 kilobytes/s, and it is getting worse, to the point of a dial up connection at time.
On the good side, it is relatively quite.
