i just moved from sanfrancisco east bay to davis for working. actually i like apartment. but the manager tried to me overcharge for deposit. i can speak and understand english well, even though i stutter a bit because i have been here for 9 months. first time she just said to me "you need just $100 refundable dep" because of my employer's payment. but she reqired of me more deposit later. finally i payed for deposit $395. she made me confused. she said just loudly and only insist.
